Before we go into the ExtremeCraft resource package in detail, we want to point out that if you want a resource package that completely fixes Minecraft visuals, this is not a real resource package. The package focuses only on the game's items, vision and some animation, so you won't notice any major changes that actually happen. However, its changes certainly look much better, which is why we recommend giving it a shot.
It is important to note that the ExtremeCraft resource pack comes out less than a week ago, so it is still in the experimental stage, but now, it is in a very developed state and you might find it working well. This game contains some incredibly detailed items that look very realistic in the game and can even provide texture for special items like guns, throwing knives, etc. The highlight of this package is definitely the creatures, as this package makes Minecraft monsters look threatening, rather than their usual cartoons, it darkens its color while adding more details.
The resolution of the ExtremeCraft resource package is x256, which may be the main reason for details in the texture. One would often think that a whole bunch of x256 solutions will be difficult to run on low-end PCs, but that doesn't seem to be the case, as the package doesn't change the textures of the environment in the game and these textures are usually textures with heavy system resources.
